Carter is a very sweet boy. He's happy go lucky and playful. As a breeding male he hikes his leg and marks his territory. For a pet home, he will need to be crate trained and redirected if he tries to mark. With strict crate training, he should acclimate well to a pet home or we will consider an ethical breeding home. He collects and will breed naturally as well. He's produced several nice quality, healthy puppies and would make a nice show prospect as well. He is AKC champion sired, has many AKC champions in his pedigree, and has a nice conformation. He is a grizzle in color, which is red with a few black hairs evenly mixed over his back. A grizzle is thought to be a mutation of the black & tan gene, it is NOT brindle as seen in the Cairn Terrier. Research is being completed in color genetics and Carter will be participating by submitting a DNA sample for color genetic analysis. $3500
