We occassionally have Norwich puppies available to quality forever homes. Our puppies receive dewclaw removal, tail cropping by a licensed vet, deworming, AVID microchipping, age appropriate vaccinations, a healthy vet check at 7-8 weeks of age, and they may go home with their families at 8-10 weeks of age. The puppies are properly socialized with our children. We provide quality photographs of the puppies, so families can watch their new family member grow and develop. Families can visit their puppy and its parents after 6 wks of age. We provide photos of our home and as many references as necessary to prove our honesty and integrity. But for the safety of our young family we prefer to visit in a public place due to vulnerability as a result of the internet. We do have a trained doberman for personal protection since the 2005 murder of a breeder through the fake inquiry about her puppies. We are available for advice and support for the lifetime of the dog, and will take them back into our home if the family is ever unable to keep them. We abide by the ethical breeder's code of ethics.
Our 3 day money back guarantee ensures that a family receives a healthy puppy free of communicable disease or apparent health defects.
We give a 2 year guarantee for congenital or hereditary defects that cause death to the puppy. Upon postmortem examination by a licensed veterinarian finding that the cause of death was due to a congenital or hereditary defect, a replacement puppy will be offered upon availability. Refunds or partial refunds are not given after the inital 3 day guarantee.
A contract reflecting our policies and health guarantees is signed upon receiving a deposit to hold a puppy choice for an upcoming litter.
Families place a $200 spay/neuter deposit upon taking their puppy home. The dog will be spayed or neutered before 6 months of age in order to obtain a refund of the deposit. If the dog is not spayed or neutered by 6 months of age, the deposit is forfeited. This policy is to help protect our puppies from the fate of puppy mills who pose as a legitimate family only to breed the dogs endlessly in unacceptable conditions. The epidemic of pet overpopulation is directly a result of irresponsible dog breeders and owners. Through education and taking responsibility for our own pets, we can significantly make an impact in the issues of pet overpopulation.
Dishonest breeders have cropped the tails of Cairns and mixes, and sold them on the internet for inflated prices. In order to preserve the integrity of the breed, we DNA all our Norwich and parentage verify our puppies. Through generations of parentage verification, we can help to preserve the lineage as well as prove the honesty of our breeding program. Please ensure you purchase an AKC puppy from an ethical reputable breeder. Norwich do not come in brindle coloring. These puppies have Cairn Terrier in their heritage and are not authentic Norwich Terriers.
